Assistant Coach

I started coaching football at the semi-professional level here in Grand Rapids, Michigan with the Grand Rapids Thunder (2007). It was there that I fell in love with coaching. From there I have gone on to coach with the Lakeshore Cougars (2008-2010, 2018), Grand Rapids Thunder (2011-2017), Tri-Unity Christian High School in Wyoming, Michigan (2012-2015), Calvin Christian High School in Grandville, Michigan (2016-2017), and the Grand Rapids Surge (2022). Currently, I am the Offensive Coordinator for the Grand Valley Christian Patriots (2022-Present). I am very excited to be a part of this organization and be a part of this amazing journey in a sport I love and love to teach. I have a wonderful wife Rebecca of 17 years and three beautiful children: Jasmine (9th grader at East Kentwood High School), Lucas (6th grader at New Branches Charter Academy), and Owen (1st grader at New Branches Charter Academy). Our family attends Encounter Church (Kentwood) where we as a family have adopted one of their sayings “Love where we live”. That’s what we do and are about….LOVE.
