More Than Football. More Than 700 Reasons to Give.

Each year, the Grand Rapids Tidal Waves step off the football field and into the community for one of our favorite traditions: our annual Toy Drive benefiting children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.

Players, fans, local businesses, and supporters throughout West Michigan come together to collect new toys and help bring a little extra joy to kids and families spending the holiday season in the hospital.

In 2022 alone, our community helped us collect and donate 783 toys.

We’re getting ready for another year of giving. The Tidal Waves Annual Toy Drive will return in 2026, bringing our team, local businesses, and the West Michigan community together to collect toys for children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
